In this video we will discuss the thyroid gland and how dysfunction in this small butterfly shaped gland can cause so many issues. With hypothyroidism your bodily organs are basically functioning in slow motion. It can cause weakness, fatigue, constipation, feeling cold, dry skin and hair, muscle cramps, slow heart rate, unexplained weight gain, confusion, altered memory, difficulty concentrating, loss of interest in activities normally enjoyed.

More Canadians are now dying of overdoses than motor-vehicle accidents and homicides combined. Due to this drastic rise in over dose Naloxone no longer requires a prescription to be sold in Ontario pharmacies if indicated for emergency use for opioid overdose. Overdoses are can be caused by prescription medication and usually occur in private homes beyond the immediate reach of doctors and nurses. There is a way you can help someone who is experiencing an opioid overdose without having any specialized medical training.
